JR Mitchell and GMT Racing win 6th annual Charlie Gibson Memorial Award

JR Mitchell and GMT Racing were presented the Charlie Gibson Memorial Award at the SVRA finale at Rd. Atlanta. Dave and Jillian Handy presented the award that was donated by the fine folks at Dunlop Motorsports in the UK. The recipient of the award is chosen each year by Dave and the staff at Sasco Sports and given to the person they feel most exemplifies the spirit and values that Charlie found so important in people. Through JR's efforts this year, the Lime Rock Vintage Festival this year returned to it's roots and values that Charlie had started years ago. The paddock was once again filled with friends and the racing was exciting. Allot of effort goes into making an event like this happen, and JR couldn't have done so much without the help and support of his fine crew. These guys are always willing to lend a hand and help anybody that asks and still be able to take care of their own crowded tent of customers! Well done guys, Charlie is smiling down
